Question: lighting problem

 Rookie

At times my door ajar warning light and my interior dome light will come on simultaneously. Getting out and opening and closing all the doors, and stopping and restarting the engine will not resolve the problem.

  This sounds like one of your door switches is starting to fail or falling out of adjustment. If the switch is becoming faulty, it's quite possible the circuit is being closed causing your car to act like one of the doors is open. If you see a little button around the edge of your door (the door must be open to see), try pushing it in and out to see if your lights or door ajar light goes out when you push the button.

  I can't remember for sure but your door may have the switch integrated into the door latch. If it does, the whole latch normally requires replacement. hope this helps!
