The throttle may stick open as a result of the gas pedal contacting the plastic pad in the carpet of the driver's foot well.

Lexus will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning December 27, 2005. If you are experiencing the throttle sticking, a higher than normal engine idle, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer.
