Lexus 2003 rx300 check engine light on 2003 Lexus RX300

I had my check engine light repaired on my Lexus 2003 rx300 twice in two weeks at a cost of $200. each at my friend's repair shop. Should I bring it back to my Lexus dealer instead?

Perhaps you should speak with your "friend" to see if the same fault code keeps turning the check engine light on in your 2003 Lexus RX300. If the same fault code keeps returning then perhaps the problem is something your "friend" cannot properly diagnose and trying another shop or the dealer may be necessary.
