Left front seat roks back and forth on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500

seat rocks back and forth when stopping and starting the dealer claims this also is why my power seat button to move seat back and forth does not work! They will not replace it because 1. They can't find a seat track and 2. It's to expensive! Who is repsonsible for replaceing it and why should I have to pay when Dodge knows there is a problem

there are too many variables with seat issues particularly after amost 10 years of service. that is why they wont help. the simple solution is to go to a junk yard and find a seat assembly and replace your unit with that one. manufactures are only required to make replacement parts for 7 years after production. we find it a lot that parts are discontinued.
