I noticed oil on the outside of the differential and took it to the shop to have them look at it. They indicated the leak was very slow (just oozing, not dripping)and the oil level insided was still OK. Therefore it was OK to keep driving the car as-is, but to keep an eye on it. It has started to leak more and more over the past 20,000 miles, but does not seem to be causing any problems yet.
