2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350 Q&A
2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350 Question: leaks and transmission shift
Hello, My car is having trouble shifting down from 2nd to 1st gear. Now it was low on steering fluid twice due to below freex=zing temp. I filled it back up and now there is a slow greenish fluid leak. Im afraid to drive it! Help please. - Visitor
sounds like you may have two different issues. on the trans issue, you can't check the fluid level because there is no dipstick. trans service is due every 39000 miles with new fluid, pan gasket and filter. suggest a good local MB shop and they will usually have the correct fluid for this vehicle. same with the p/s fluid; it is MB gear oil and not regular p/s fluid that the Parts Goober store sells. they can identify your p/s leak. - overbys
Also used an Actron Diagnostics and got the Error code P0722. Further more when I drive the car it doesn't change to a higher gear given the engine an unusual loud engine rev noise. What do i do?
