Coolant Leak & Engine Overheating on Chevrolet Astro

Leaking alot of Coolant fluid, took it a mechanic, estimate was $469.

Coolant started leaking from the Weep-hole under the water pump shaft casting. I replaced the water pump and used a homemade gasket w shellac. No leaks woks fine
