Question: Leaking water pump

 Rookie

I replaced the water pump on my 2001 Cadillac Deville. Everything seemed to go okay replacing it, but it still leaks. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

   Master

  Make sure the old gasket is totally removed, and that the gasket surface area is not pitted. Make sure the bolts are all torqued properly.
