Question: Leaking oil

 Rookie

Oil is leaking out the front of the engine at about 1 quart in 300 miles. Consequently, there is a lot of smoking. THe oil fill cap is tight and the valve cover is tight. This just started recently over the course of a month.

    There are a few places that can leak at the front of this engine. Camshaft, Crankshaft and Intermediate seals primarily, and then the cover behind the crankshaft seal.
    Make sure your PCV flame trap is not plugged and same with the nipple/hose on the PCV flame trap housing.
