Question: Leaking Coolant (Will Stop Leak Solve?)

Question

Visitor, 1.9L 4 Cylinder SOHC, Camarillo, CA, April 18, 2010, 11:47

Mechanic told me the wtr pump nds replacing (leaks coolant) Low on cash and wondering if Stop Leak could work to seal problem but on the 94 Saturn SL1 doesn't have
a radiator cap visible (only a coolant overflow tank) which I don't think I should put stop leak in. Where do I put the Stop Leak on a 94 SaturnSL1 w/coolant leak (not oil leak)??

Yes it will for awhile but, I had to replace my whole radiator because the intake of the coolant to the radiator was cracked. And Saturm was cheap and put the radiator with plastic sides in their models. Buy a new one for $100 all metal. Will last forever then. But the StopLeak will help slow the leak down.

watch that video. it took me like three hours to replace the water pump. i did the labor myself. it was my very first do-it-yourself job. i have no background at all in auto repair or even really auto maintenance.

if i could do it, you can do it.
