Question: Leak between power steering pump and power steering pressure sensor

We replaced the power steering pump a week ago and it has started to leak in the joint between the pump iteself and the pressure sensor. We removed it again (fun) replaced the o ring and it is leaking from the same place again. The steering also seems "loose" when I drive it. Any advice?

    I had a similar leak and replaced the entire hose. Also the gearbox could be leaking.

    Steering should be pretty lose as the steering on these things suck.

    You know you have a power steering problem when the steering gets really tough to turn the wheel.
