    I took my daughter's car in for an inspection and it failed with a P0171 code. I let the mechanic know my teenage daughter had put diesel in it accidently in July and asked if it could be related. He called me back and said it needed two oxygen sensors and also charged me for a fuel rail cleaning without mentioning this charge. I drove the car 75 miles to "reset" the computer and the lights came on again. The same code came up after $829 worth of charges. After researching online and talking to other mechanics, I found that oxygen sensor failure is rare anymore and that replacing them for this code is often a misdiagnosis. When I talked to the manager he took the car back in and did some minor steps --within 6 hours he called me that it was fixed and inspection passed - no further charge. However, he never gave me a satisfactory answer regarding the "mistake" his mechanic made. I paid for his employees mistake, not him. I will never go back!!
