  Ben is a good guy. He makes you feel like your car is HIS car. I've gone through many mechanics with the 2 cars I have and I've never left with a comfortable feeling from their shops, even when they did a basic oil change...not with Ben; I had to leave my car for a few days and he had one of his associates give me a ride home and back to pick it up...I finally found MY mechanic.

  CAR WAS IN A FREAK ACCIDENT - A STEEL PIPE FELL OUT OF THE PICK UP TRUCK IN FRONT OF US, WENT UNDER OUR CAR, AND DID EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO ENGINE PARTS. BEN, THE OWNER, TOOK PERSONAL CARE OF THE CAR, MAKING SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE RIGHT - AND IT WAS. I HAVE THE CAR BACK AND IT HAS NEVER RUN AS WELL AS IT DOES NOW.

  I RECOMMEND KOESTER TO OTHERS WHO WANT TO HAVE WORK DONE ON THEIR CARS THAT IS TOP QUALITY AT FAIR PRICES.

  Service was excellent!!! All parties were professional and courteous. Work completed was phenomenal. I am very pleased and glad to be a patron.

  Ben and his team of professionals know exactly what they're doing. Ben is always pleasant and extremely knowledgable and takes pride in his work. Recently, my car's air conditioning wasn't working. I called up Ben and he said 'Bring it over right away!' I took it over and sure enough the repair was done within an hour. However, Ben had also noticed a few other repairs that needed to be made. He went over everything with me and they were all legit. He worked on my car for about a week and a half. When my car was ready for pick up, he showed me all of the parts that he had replaced and gave me a complete breakdown on what was done to my car. His prices were VERY VERY reasonable! I will never take my car anywhere else! Ben is the best!!!

  My car's warranty had just expired when, of course, it broke down. I found Koester thru a tow truck driver as an alternative to the dealership. I'd previously only used a dealership, but didn't want to pay their prices for non-warranty work.

  About a week after the repair, I was out of town with the car and it broke down again. I was kicking myself for using a non-dealer for the last repairs, and so I just had it towed to the nearest dealership this time instead of trying to find a cheaper alternative.

  As it turns out, the fix was minor, but the second breakdown had indeed been caused by the work that Koester had done. A day later, Ben (the owner of Koester) called me just as a follow-up to the original repair to see how the car was holding up and I explained the new situation. This is where I expected the "shifting the blame" tap dance to begin.

  However, to my surprise, Ben immediately volunteered to reimburse my out-of-pocket costs for the second repairs, and he also offered a substantial discount on some additional routine maintenance I needed. He followed through on both.

  At this point, I'm very happy, and am especially pleased that I've found an auto shop that stands behind its work. Every place makes mistakes sometimes, but the mark of a good business and a good businessman is how they rectify those mistakes, and Ben did a great job in this regard. It was really refreshing to deal with him, and I understand now why he has been in business for so long.

  On another note, Ben is also very communicative. He returns phone calls promptly, and he calls when he says he's going to call. This is a detail that I particularly appreciate and it can't be underestimated.

  I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends.

  Ben is always friendly and helpful. He is knowledgable and trustworthy, and lets his customers know their concerns are important to him. He is not satisfied unless he knows he has completed the work on a car so that you will drive away safe.

  Ben was extremely helpful and sensitive to my automotive needs. He provided very fast service and worked with me to fix the car within my budget. Additionally, Ben provided me with a list of items that should be addressed in the future. He was on time and a pleasure to work with. I will continue to work with Ben at Koester Automotive as I am lucky to have a mechanic that I can trust. Richmond

  Staff was very polite, well informed. The shop was clean and orderly. Work was done promptly, mechanical check up was well done, advice was helpful and on the mark.
