Question: knocking/cracking sound

 Rookie

So I got my 4 motor mounts replaced for 425 but my car is still making the same knocking/cracking sound everytime I brake accelerate change gears r hit a bump its so annoying why is it making tthat noise???

  Sounds like your Ball Joints are really the problem. Motor mounts usually don't sounds like this. Go to a really good front end shop, they will know the sounds. it sounds like a really dry creaking sound, because the ball joints have run out of lubricant and are really dry and now ruined. This is where I would look to solve you problem

• motor mounts
  how much to fix all four motor mounts?? my engine looks like its about to fly out when I accelerate and it makes a cracking/knocking sound when I sometimes change gears, accelerate or hit a bump.
