I have isuzu axiom x 2002 and i have notice knocking sound coming from my hood when i push gas pedal. I have change my oil but yet still the knocking sound did not go away. What would cause this knocking sound when i push my accelerator?

MasterIts hard to comment without hearing the noise first hand. It could be "back firing" due to a lean condition or misfire, it could be a noise created by a mechanical problem, or it could be a noise due to the engine moving due to a bad engine or exhaust issue. Get it check out particularly if you have a Check Engine light on.
