A knock or clunk type noise may be noted from the front suspension over bumps. This is can caused by worm stabilizer (sway) bar links. Replacing both stabilizer bar links will commonly repair this issue.

    I have a knock noise coming from the tire well and suspension areas when we drive over a dip in the road or a speed bump. I believe it's happening on almost 3 corners of the car now. It makes this noise louder when it's been raining.

    I took mine to a Honda Dealer and they told me the same thing that they couldn't find anything wrong. Then I took it to Firestone and had the mechanic ride along with me and once he heard it it said "sway bar links" were bad and that it's not a hazard but should be fixed.

    we bought our odyssey last year with 114,000miles on it. the past few months have noticed a clunk, or bumping sound when going over a bump or even turning into a parking spot etc. Honda mechanic said they couldnt find anything wrong. now what?

    I had this problem while going over rough terrain and my mechanic said the car was just being grecksy (sp). I now have a new mechanic. Problem is not fixed though.
