Our kia stopped working yesterday. The Transmission lights came on. We have been told by the dealer the transmisison is cracked and will cost us $ 10,000 to repair. We live in the city and have had no accidents. We are told the reason it is so expensive is because of the sensor. We are really concerned as we have no idea how this happend, and worried even if we fix it will this happen again.

Contact your insurance company and the factory rep and let them argue it out.
