Try having a key cut buy the vin through the dealership, and see if new key works. If it does not the cylinder will require replacement or rebuilding, if the cylinder will not turn it makes replacement much harder and or more expensive.

Just some obvious suggestions. Try your other ignition key as that one may be well worn. We`ve seen alot of that. Also, make sure your front wheels are not turned hard all the way to one side. That puts a lot of pressure on the ignition mechanism. If you can see that the wheels on the front of the car are turned hard one way, then proceed as follows; By turning the steering wheel hard the same (yes, the same) way while turning the ignition key at the same time will free it up if that`s your situation.

now, you may have thought of this, but on vehicles with automatic transmissions there is a start switch which wont allow you to start the vehicle in gear. Try this, it's simple and easy. Put the car in Neutral then back in Park to see if your problem is solved. If that's not the case, attempt to start in neutral. If it starts, your transmission switch needs to be adjusted.
