key will not turn the ignition switch on on 2003 Honda Odyssey

when putting the key into the ignition switch it will not turn. if you jiggle it around a few times sometimes it will turn the car on

This most likely is a bad electrical portion of the ignition switch. Most of the time the electrical portion can be purchased separately.

Ignition switch was part of a recall in 02, but they may have already put the bad part in your car....I've had two of them replaced free by Honda on a 99. You don't want to know what will happen if this part goes out on the road.
