Ignition Key Will not Turn or Cannot be Removed From Lock Cylinder on Chrysler LHS

If the ignition key does not turn and/or cannot be removed, a new lock cylinder may be needed. A worn key can also cause similar problems.

The tow truck driver pounded the key into the ignition switch with his hand and was able to turn it. The problem was with the lock cylinder. I bought a new one from the dealer ($35) and installed it myself by watching a YouTube video. I think it took 30 minutes.
