2006 Mercury Milan Question: Key is stuck in ignition

Key is stuck in ignition. I believe it is some type of relay that does not recognize that the car is in park. My question is what is a fair price to pay for repair? Thanks -

had one today there is a TSB from ford in the shifter and button assembly causing the key to be trapped. check with your local ford dealer. not too expensvie. around 200 repair. Roy -

THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS MY AUTOMATIC GEAR SHIFT, IN MY 2007 MILAN. COST WAS $400. -
