 Rookie

I bought this car from the original owner. It had a remote key fob. I have recently bought the car back. But the owner lost the remote. I have bought a used one. The manual say's that there is an open port on the harness for remote programming. But i can not find it. The instructions say look on the L/R quarter panel. The harness there goes to the tail lights, Third brake light, And what i think is a seat belt warning light. The car has had a stereo put in it, With two sub's and 3 amps in a box between the wheel wells. And i don't know if anything was cut. Any ideas ??
