I went in to fix my muffler. My muffler was fine it just needed a piece of pipe and a couple of clamps. It was 80 dollars and I felt that was high priced. I was only there for 30 minutes so it was high for that time. Now there is a rattle in the muffler that I am not happy about. They were friendly and nice and everything, I just felt the prices were high. It looked like a nice place but money means a lot these days. Even an oil change was high priced.
I went in there with no appointment. I had an issue I was worried and upset about. There was a line there and they took the time to look at it to make sure I wasn't driving in danger. They took care of it then. They were good mechanics and the ladies in the front office were very friendly. I think that I was charged a fair amount.
Have taken my car here for a routine oil change and for more complex problems and would honestly never trust them again with anything beyond an oil change. After talking to other people who have used them they all agree that for mufflers and exhaust, they are one of the best. The problem is when you venture into other types of repairs that they just do not have the experience on. I was told I needed to change my power steering fluid the first time I went in for a regular oil change and decided to save the $150 they wanted for it, and did it on my own. No less than two days after I changed it, and took it back in for something else, they said I still needed to change it. No, I just changed it two days ago, you just saw from your records that it needed to be changed the last time so you said it still needed to be. I also was given a price for a repair that was over twice as much as multiple other shops I had called, and after getting the repair fixed at another shop, found out they were incorrect in what they thought the problem was and I would have been out almost $500 for something that did not need to be replaced. I also called and told them I needed the car looked at the next day because I was moving to another state and needed the car taken with me. I understand if you're busy and can't look at a vehicle the very next day, but I made it clear to them that if they couldn't, it was fine, I would go somewhere else because I HAD to have it done that day. They said bring it in and we'll look at it. I dropped it off shortly after 8am and 90 minutes before closing I had not heard anything so I called them, only to find out that it had not even been looked at yet. Overall I was quoted over $500 for something that was NOT wrong, I was told to replace a fluid I had replaced 48 hours prior, and I was told it would be looked at that day and was not looked at until I called in and checked in on it. I was then charged an inspection fee for them looking at the car. I know people who have taken their vehicle here and loved the service, but I will never go back.
