Keep or trade? on 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS

Have a Cobalt with 7600 miles on it - in researching I am concerned about recall issue with CAT and potential power steering issue/failure. Advice?....should I just continue driving it or trade it before I have the problems. Thanks very much.

Every vehicle has it's common issues, this won't change by getting another car. Just look at what Toyota and Honda are going through right now with their recalls. What will change is how many issues your vehicle "might" have, so you are smart to look into what issues may arise with your car. It's more important that you have a good shop and vehicle manufacturer that step up when you have problems and address them for you. If there are recalls on your vehicle, take your Cobalt to your Chevrolet Dealership and have the recalls performed.

CAT converters are covered under recall.. just had mine done. Also, there is a Power Steering recall apparently for a few different Chevy and GM models.. get ahold of your local dealer and see what the have to say
