Question: Keep getting a Code 082

 Rookie

I got a code 082 on my 95 chevy lumina 3.1 l. I replaced the crank sensor and the car still will not startand when it did it was dumping a excessive amount of gas (could smell it). Does anyone have any othersolutions to this puzzle.

    That code is for the Intake Valve to be looked at, and that helps with the Exhaust system as well as the Catalytic Converter too. You better take that to the dealer ASAP or to a mechanic you can trust and have them do the FULL diagnostic test again to see if that is still the problem. This could be pricey too, so be careful as to how much money you can dish out for this.

    Turns out the person driving the car OVER HEATED it 3 or 4 times. Am I wrong suspecting that they warped or evn cracked the head. I found a replacement motor for 300 and think this may be the best way out. What do you think?
