What a find! It is so hard to find an honest mechanic and I'm so glad i found one. Kano's is one busy place, with loyal customers returning over and over, so it helps to call in advance to make sure they're not swamped. But that's always a good sign when almost all their customers is by word of mouth -- since the place is not the easiest to find. Checkout Consumer Checkbook who did a review - best in San Mateo.

These guys are the best - fast, friendly, and professional! I have a 2004 Honda Accord that I've taken to various Honda dealerships in the past and it's only after taking it to Kano's did I realize that I've been ripped off all these years. I was under the incorrect assumption that you can trust dealerships to do a good job. After repeatedly having to go back and dealing with crooked service managers, I decided to try out Kano's.
In comparison, these guys took the time to comprehensively diagnose my problems and patiently explain everything to me. Their prices are very fair and their customer service is unprecedented.
