just read a description on here for an IRCM for 1998 Lincoln Continental on 1995 Lincoln Continental

I can't find it again and I think this may be the prob replaced fuel pump fuse is fine and filter is too

ok sorry....all of a sudden car won't start cranks great but not getting gas.....fuse is fine replaced fuel pump (PAIN) still .... absolutley will NOT start in the A.M. but starts great in the evening after work..today he replaced the ircm so we'll see in the A.M. the car is a 95 NOT a 98 (typo) we are stumped...hopefully will beok in the A.M. if not I'll be back : ) ok the car didn't start late last nite nor this morning but once the day warmed up it started just fine he took the new ircm off and put the old one back on this is 6 days in a row that it only starts& runs fine after the day has warmed up!

ircm do go bad do you have eng codes?

no we don't have any codes the friend that has the analyser said it was the pump(never hooked the analyser up) it wasn't so now we've put the ircm on and we'll see in the A.M. it will start in the evenings but not the A.M.'s ok car didn't start late last nite or this morning :( once the day warmed up it has started fine what can it be????

What year modle 95 or 98. Do you have any computer codes? Why do you think the intake manifold runner control is a problem on a Lincoln with prob.4.6 V8 engine?

cause we read abt the ircm here on this website and it is a 95 - sorry typo we've put an ircm on so we'll see in the A.M. it starts in the evenings but not the mornings thanks well it didn't start late last nite or this morning but once the day warmed up it started just fine! This is 6 days in a row that it has done this FYI we took the ircm off and put the old back on
