If I was told by mechanic that I need complete front end, but I couldn't get him to be very much more specific, what all will I be replacing and shouldn't I be able to expect a labor discount by doing all these jobs at once? How much do you think it should cost for all ties, all ball joints and I don't what else? Is there any way to save a buck or two?

First if I took my vehicle to a repair shop and they would'nt tell exactly what they were replacing and how much, I would go to another shop. My shop is in Florida. Florida has a Motor Vehicle Repair Act. Every shop here is required by law to provide an estimate. Once that estimate is signed by the owner of the vehicle, that shop can not charge one penny more than the customer has approved. The state of Florida is very protective of its consumers. In the state of Florida auto repair fraud is the #1 consumer complaint. You need to find another shop that has nothing to hide. Complete front end is a very broad statement. Good luck.
