  Overpriced/BAD SERVICE. Talking to Johnny about my problems passing emissions Johnny convinced me he was the guy to bring my truck to. He seemed knowledgeable from reading the Emissions report what the problem was. Johnny told me to replace the carburetor and come back and see him. I bought a new carb (400.00)and brought the truck to him. He replaced the Catalytic converter and "adjusted the carb" so he says. He charged me 600.00 but the truck still didn't pass emissions. I took the truck to the state emissions inspection and they told me i should have left the old carb on it and all it needed was a rebuild. Went back to ask johnny what to do and he was unwilling to help me any further. I took the truck across the street and the guy had the truck passing in no time with a simple "Carb adjustment". Beware of this guy. When you go to see Johnny notice there are no cars in the bays or in his driveway. Others must have found out the hard way like myself.

  I brought my truck in for what turns out to be a simple repair. Johnnie was up front and honest with me throughout the repair. He did not try to overcharge me for repairs that were not needed. He even educated me on items so I would not need to bring my truck back in for repairs and save myself some money! I will definitely recommend him to others. You will not get screwed over at this location like most of the other places. HIGHLY recommended!

  I have been going to Johnnie's Auto since he came to Golden. I have all my families car worked on there. They are not only friendly and respectful but the quality of work is very good. In the 5 years of service I have not once experienced any problems. I would recommend them highly.

  The manager/owner who asnwered my call was rude and turned me off so I didn't even end up bringing car there for some minor service tune-ups. Can't comment on the quality of work as obviously didn't get that far.
