I have been taking my vehicle to Jon JR for over 10 yrs and followed him and his father to the new shop. I trust them and know they stand behind their work.
I was a walk in. The service advisor quickly identified the issue and the shop was able to do the repair that day. The only issue I had was when the service advisor called me to let me know the vehicle was ready, he mentioned that a rear brake light was out and asked if I wanted it to be replaced. If I had known that the shop would charge me $20 bucks for a five minute job to change a $3 bulb then I never would have agreed.
It is our policy to always give an estimate of work to be performed before it is. I apologize for this situation and if you would contact me directly I would be happy to provide a refund for the non-authorized charge.

The repair to the relay in my truck was a job well done. And I haven't had any more problems to start the car. However, there is still on that light on the dashboard that says "check the engine", which was on when I took it to the shop and requested for that service to be done. One of the mechanics said that they couldn't find the cause of that issue, but he said he could put that light out but it would for sure will come back on again and to bring it back to check it again. Also the latch that closes the gas knob was broken when I picked up the car. One thing I don't understand is why did you not finish the job when the light to check the engine was on? And to make me come back to check it again, charge me the diagnosis charge and plus the repair again. I paid a lot of money for just fixing the relay, the amount for the part was insignificant but the labor charge was about 80% of the bill. I had sent you an email with these issues, as well as I have left phone messages that were never responded. The people I dealt with there, were very nice and knowledgeable so that is why I don't understand why and how could this happened. I would appreciate a phone call to bring the car in and fix it like it should have been done.

Here at Autotek we only use the highest quality parts. In some circumstances there may be options that are substantially less expensive. However, it has been our experience that these lower quality parts are rarely a good fit and repair. I am sorry that we were not cost effective to make the repair to your vehicle.
There is always a nice friendly atmosphere at the front desk. It feels nice to be treated as a valued customer! I had that kind of relationship with John Sr. as well as John Jr. at Auto Nation when they worked on my old 1993 Landcruiser. I am thrilled that we found them after they left Auto Nation. I cried I was so pleased! They have always provided me with service that I could trust at a very competitive price. It is always great seeing them and the staff!
