The air bags and seat belt pretensioners may deploy inadvertently while the vehicle is being driven due to electronic interference. Dealers will replace the air bag electronic control module and the front and/or side impact sensors as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.
The air conditioning suction/discharge hose may contact the exhaust manifold, causing a fire hazard. Dealers will inspect the routing of the air conditioning hose and replace the hose, correcting the installation routing free of charge to resolve the concern.

Due to communication control vulnerabilities, the vehicle can be remotely accessed by third parties. This can cause unauthorized use and control of the vehicle from an outside party. Chrysler will send owners of affected vehicles a USB drive that will allow an owner to update the software on their own to eliminate this vulnerability. Owners can also download this software on their own to repair the vehicle more quickly. Owners can contact dealerships for further direction or assistance. All repairs will be done free of charge.
The software for the vehicle radio can be exploited by unauthorized parties who can make changes vehicle system software remotely, possibly endangering vehicle operation. Chrysler will mail owners of affected vehicles a USB drive that includes a software update that eliminates the vulnerability free of charge to resolve the concern. Alternatively, owners may download the software from Chrysler directly to their own USB device to update the vehicle software.
The power liftgate module may short circuit resulting in a fire hazard. Dealers will inspect the power liftgate control module and connectors for corrosion, substitute a bolt for the threaded grommet installed to seal an attachment point used in vehicles not equipped with a power liftgate and cover the power liftgate control module in a foam water shield free of charge to resolve the concern.
The engine may crank over with the clutch pedal not depressed, or the engine may not crank over with the clutch pedal depressed. The clutch ignition interlock switch will be replaced to correct this problem.
