Jeep Scheduled Maintenance Parts

In order to run, the engine needs a precise mixture of fuel and air. When outside air is drawn into the engine, the air filter prevents harmful dirt and debris from entering the system.
The alternator belt is a flexible rubber belt driven by the engine to power the alternator. The alternator belt can be the common "V" profile or the more modern flat-ribbed style.
Coolant is the fluid that flows through the engine’s cooling system. Its main purpose is to transfer heat generated by the engine to the radiator so the engine doesn’t overheat.
These belts can be used individually or grouped together as part of the belt/pulley system that is driven by the engine crankshaft to run such items as the air conditioning compressor, alternator, and power steering pump.
Engine oil provides lubrication for all internal moving parts of an engine. It also helps conduct heat away from these components.
The oil drain plug gasket seals the oil drain plug where it connects to the oil pan.
The engine oil filter removes contaminants from the engine oil before it circulates throughout the engine.
The spark plug uses the energy produced by the ignition coil to generate the spark necessary to ignite the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. The platinum/iridium spark plug uses harder metals on the electrodes, which increases their life to over 100,000 miles in most applications.

I have a 93 Jeep wrangler that has a Dana 44, 4:10 ratio. While driving one day the spider gears in the differential broke. I opened the dif and cleaned out all the metal I tried to rotate the case but it only rotates half way and stops. I double checked for metal shavings or chunks but could not find any; the pinion and the ring are locking.
I think that the adjustment is lost; nobody’s ever touched the rear end outside of general maintenance. I can’t find what is holding it but if ...
