Engine Will not Start Due to Wireless Control Module Fault
A no crank or no start condition may develop due to electronic lockup of the wireless control module (WCM), also referred to as the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM). When this module fails the remote keyless entry system will also not operate. The WCM is commonly replaced to correct this concern.
Leaking Front Strut and/or "Rough" Handling
A fluid leak may be noted from the front struts and/or the vehicle may handle "rough" Our technicians tell us that replacing the leaking struts and installing a revised jounce bumper and dust shield should correct these concerns.
Fuel Gauge Fluctuation Issue on Front Wheel Drive Vehicles
Front wheel drive vehicles may develop a fuel gauge fluctuation issue. Our technicians tell us that replacing the fuel sending unit, clocking the fuel module, and installing a fuel jumper hose may be required to correct this concern.
Abnormal Noise or Damage to AC Compressor
A rattle type noise may be noted from the AC compressor or the compressor could be damaged due to "slugging" of the refrigerant. The compressor may require replacement to correct this concern. If the compressor is replaced an updated condenser may also be required.
Abnormal Noise From HVAC Blower Motor
An abnormal noise may be noted from the HVAC blower motor. This can be caused by debris from the glove box entering the blower motor via the recirculation door. A screen is now available which can be installed over the recirculation air inlet to keep debris out of the blower motor.
PCM Software Update Available to Correct Various Driveability Issues
Our technicians tell us that various dirveability and Check Engine Light issues can be corrected by updating the powertrain control module (PCM) software.
Swish sound from rear
A swish sound may be heard from the rear over bumps. The repair may involve installing a shock cap on both rear shocks.
Clutch pedal push back
Clutch pedal "push back" may be felt towards the end of the pedal travel. The repair may involve removing the pedal arm "over-center" spring.
Squeak noise from clutch pedal
A squeak noise may be noted when applying or releasing the clutch pedal. Our technicians tell us that lubricating the clutch master cylinder push-rod ball socket should correct the concern.
Scraping sound from clutch pedal when truning steering wheel
A clicking or scraping sound may be noted from the clutch pedal area when turning the steering wheel in the full down tilt position. Our technicians tell us the clutch switch stop flag may require modification to correct this concern.
