James Motor Works
I have been going to James motor works since he started. I have four cars. 99 buick lesabre,1987 mercedes 560sel,1992 toyota camry,2005 chryler 300. He works on all four of my cars. He is the most honest, straight forward mechanic that I have ever had. He is also the most courteous and efficient. All four of my cars have the coldest of air conditioners. All four cars are in great shape because of James. Try him once and you will be sold. Customer service is number one for his business. I have personally sent people over to James. And they all rave about him. Thanks for everything James and the crew.

James Motor Works
James Motor Works is a God-send!!! I recently moved to the area in July. While driving my car from New Orleans to McDonough, it overheated. My car would overheat subsequently two more times. Although I was going to another mechanic who tried to address my various radiator issues, I never felt that the radiator issues were completely solved and then add in a broken cv joint. After finding James Motor Works through Repair Pal, I took my car over for an estimate. Jim was honest and fair. Although I only had one cv joint that needed to be repaired he recommended that I do both. Additionally, my car was running cold (in less than 40 degree weather) and he was genuinely concerned about this problem. He recommended a radiator flush (the water was a burnt orange). After quoting me a fair price, he offered to take me back home when I brought my car in for service (I live 3 miles away). When I took my car in for service he called me to tell me what he discovered and although he recommended that I need two cv joints, it turned out that I only needed one. How honest is that?!?! My car was fixed for less than I thought and as promised my the water in my radiator is clean enough to make coffee! :) They know about customer service!! They power washed my engine, connected a few wires that were loose (no extra charges) and a car wash (part of all services). I now feel so much better driving my car. Thank you James Motor Works!!!

James Motor Works
My 14-year-old car's A/C crapped out this summer, and when the average day's high was reaching 100 degrees each day I knew I had to get it fixed somehow. At James Motor Works, the owner was willing to schedule a time to repair my car after business hours. I work two part time jobs, and it is hard for me to go to car shop during normal operating hours. This solution took a lot of the stress out of having my car fixed, since it was at a better time for me. The shop also vacuumed out my car for me for free!!!!! Above exceptional service and customer service :)

James Motor Works
I came to the shop because I was having problems passing my emissions test. I have a 1994 Plymouth Sundance & I was given his card from a friend that uses him regularly. When I called, he wasn't available so I left him a message. He promptly called me back & was very courtious, professional & he answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed to get off the phone. He was very knowledgeable about cars, how they work, what could go wrong etc... On July 12th 2010 I came to his shop at around 9:30am, went into his office where he explained all that he would do, still being very courtious, friendly, down to earth(all the things I would expect from a honest mechanic...)He called me about 1-2 hours later with his findings as to what could be the problem as well as other problems I had(door was about to fall off so he had to weld it, belt was squeeling, timing belt had to be rest to the right position, vacuum hoses gone bad)so I told him to fix it and I would pick up the next morning. He genuinely acted concerned that I would not have my car for work, but I assured him I could ride with someone til the next morning. He also did a oil change which includes, lube chassis & all hinges, wash car, vacuum inside. I called him around 6pm that same day & he told me that he had finished around 4pm but I was working so wasn't able to pick up til next morning. I got there at 9:30am the next morning, & my car was waiting for me all clean with no squeeling of the belt, door closed better then it ever has, ran better then it ever has, when I got in the car, the outside & the inside was cleaner then it ever has...The price was WAYYYYYY lower then what I thought it would be as I had checked around other places so when he told me how much I was shocked at how low the price was. On July 13th 2010 when I came to get my car, I left my girlfriend's car as she had the check engine light on for some unknown reason. He gave her the same awesome service with finding the reason was a crack in the radiator. He even called my girlfriend a couple of times to give her his findings as well as the price & what needs to be done. We are picking up her car in the morning(July 14th 2010)& will continue to use James Motor Works in the future as our ONLY mechanic. I even expressed my gratitude to Jim Ainsworth the owner that I have NEVER found a better garage then his & I was so impressed that I took a hanful of his cards to hand out to people so he can get more business & see how great of a job he has done. I even went on Facebook to send out to all my friends on there a note about him so that everyone would know about him. If you want a good clean garage with a knowledgable staff then go to James Motor Works & you too like me will be satisfied & happy you did.
