On certain vehicles the accelerator pedal arms were incorrectly assembled. Causing the clearance between the accelerator and the brake pedal to be reduced. This may cause you to step on both the pedals simultaneously and cause a crash. The pedal may also get stuck on the pedal stop, causing a dangerous situation. Dealer will inspect and replace accelerator pedal assembly. The Jaguar recall # is R847

On certain vehicles with automatic transmissions, with a forward "Drive" gear selected and the vehicle stationary or in forward motion, the transmission could potentially select "Reverse" without warning. This could result in a crash. Dealers will reprogram the Transmission Control Module to fix the issue. The recall began on May 1, 2004. The Jaguar recall number is R513.
