The cup holder in the front center arm rest is flimsy and may break, making it impossible to close the cup holder assembly.
The exterior door handles are of poor quality; they frequently break or do not offer enough leverage to open the door from the outside.
The upper bushings on the front shock absorbers are prone to failure and may produce a rattling/jingling noise as the car is driven over bumps.

It does drive. Takes off slow but can't accelerate beyond 50mph. How do I fix. What sum call "limp" mode
Bought my wife a 1994 XJ6. AC switch comes on, blower comes on, but the compressor does not. I have replaced the AC relay switch and checked all the fuses. Any information you may give me will be greatly appreciated.
replace it in the car, the alarm system went off. I could not turn it off my putting my key in the ignition. How do i shut the alarm system off?

PURCHASED A NICE XJ6 SOVERIGN JAGUAR AND ITS A GREAT VEHICLE. TRUE ROAD HOG. WHEN I PURCHASED IT THE DASH ELECTRICAL PANEL WOULD NOT WORK. (TEMP,SPEED,OIL)I REPLACED ALL THE FUSES AND NOTHING WORKS. The engine will not accelerate . It smothers on acceleration. The Dealer in Atlanta could not repair it. They worked on it for 3days and gave up. Many parts were replaced. Diagnostic equipment could not detect the problem.
