Jaguar will notify owners beginning January 5, 2015. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Jaguar recall number is J047.
The engine drive belt could fail, the power steering pump pulley may fail and/or the battery positive cable could detach. This could result in electrical short, fire hazard, and loss of steering assist. This would increase risk of injury and an accident.
Recalls on your Jaguar must be performed by a Jaguar dealership. Jaguar notified known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2014. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Jaguar dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle.
