The brake system uses fluid in hydraulic lines to operate the brake on each individual wheel. These vehicles are being recalled because junctions of these fluid lines could develop leaks. Loss of brake fluid can reduce braking efficiency, increasing the risk of a crash or personal injury. Dealers will inspect the affected brake line junctions and tighten them as necessary to correct this concern.

Passenger airbags in many late model vehicles are designed not to deploy if a child or child seat occupies the front passenger seat. Because of a wiring issue in the passenger front seat, the passenger airbag could deploy when it should not. Unintended deployment of the airbag in the event of a crash would increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Dealers will repair the seat wiring to correct this concern.

272 vehicles are being recalled because fasteners may have been installed incorrectly which secure the power steering pump pulley and accessory drive belt to the engine, as well as the positive cable on the alternator. Failure of these to stay secure can cause a loss of vehicle control, unsafe driving conditions and possibly result in fire.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

All late model vehicles are equipped with a tire pressure information label. These vehicles are being recalled because "none" may be indicated for the recommended spare tire pressure. As a result the spare tire may not be properly inflated and ready to use if the need arises. Dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and attach a new tire pressure label as necessary to correct this concern.
