Jaguar Recalls 2010–2011 XK and XF Models Due to Fuel Pump Problems

Engine, August 30, 2010

RepairPal Expert Overview

Summary:

Jaguar is recalling 2010–2011 XK and 2010 XF V8 5.OL vehicles because the fuel pump relay may not energize following a start-up cycle, which will affect the amount of fuel supplied to the engine. Fuel starvation can cause engine stumble or cut out, which can increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will download revised software free of charge.
