Jaguar XF Premium Recall 08V607000

Instrument Panel Speaker May Fail

Electrical & Lights, December 5, 2008

RepairPal Expert Overview

Our Quick Take:

There is a speaker on the instrument panel that provides warning notifications to the driver. These notifications include warnings for not wearing seat belts, leaving your lights on, and leaving your door open with the key in the ignition. Forgetting to wear your safety belt can increase the risk of injury or death in the event of a crash.

What Should You Do?

We at RepairPal have designated this a medium priority recall; this would change to high if any problems are noted with the audible warnings from the dash. Please contact your Jaguar dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
