Jacking Vehicle on 2001 Lincoln Continental

Says before jacking you should turn off air suspension swicth. Were is this switch and if jacked up without turning of switch what could happen ?

The switch to disable the air suspension on your 2001 Lincoln Continental should be located in the trunk. Jacking the rear end without disabling the system can damage the air springs.

Prior to jacking or lifting a vehicle with air suspension, you must turn off the suspension switch. The switch is generally located in the trunk or on the right side of the passenger foot well.
I jacked Lincoln without switching off air now my suspension stay's fully inflated .
