  As a employee of J and J Tire and Muffler I would like to give a rebuttal to the statement posted by Trip03...
  Mr. Gillen is a very understanding and caring person. I have watched as he has went out of his way for not only his customer's but his employees as well. He has never been rude, theatening or hostile towards a customer for no reason but at the same time he does not let a person disrespect or threaten him or his staff.
  We are the Lowest Price Guaranteed and the fastest service in town...Don't take my word for it though, just ask around and you'll find out!

  It's a wonder this place is still in business. The Owner/Manager Greg Gillen wasn't just rude, he was very hostile and threatening because I suggested that the work they did on my vehicle was sub par. I wouldn't normally take the time to post such reviews but I really would like to warn people not to use this place. Not to mention the prices are twice that of every other tire shop in town. I guess that's there way to try to stop the lost customer base because of the terrible service. Don't take my word for it though, just ask around a little and you'll find out.

  We were driving from Texas to Alabama and our car broke down. J&J fixed it quickly and had all the parts, even for a catalytical converter. The price was fair and the quality of their work is amazing. They use strong welds with a large welder instead of small welders like many shops use. They were professional and saved us much stress and anxiety. It happened on a Friday at 4 p.m. and the other 4 places I called either said they could not help or they would order the part on Monday, which would mean several nights in a hotel in Meridian, MS. J&J, Greg, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
