usually hear a swishing sound in the mornings when the vehicle is cold; then after a while, i hear a whistling sound (but not always) - could this be a exhaust leak somewhere; the mechanic found that the throttle position sensor needs to be replaced...does the TPS have anything to do with the whistling?? he could not hear the whistling sound when I took it in because my car was not making that sound on the day that i took it in; still have not had the TPS replace, doing that next week.
