I'm a single woman and have to wait for the parts to replace the wheel bearings. Is it safe to drive a short distance to work? They are making a loud noise.

NO!!!!!!! If your wheel bearings go completely you tire, along with the brake asembly, will seperate from the car!! This is catostophic, to say the least! Even at 45 mph you will have absolutely no control of the vehicle and, needless to say, you won't need the parts you've already ordered!!!!
