 Rookie

i have a 1990 crx it dosent ideal snd over heats if it dose and it will die if i turn off the ac what could that be

    There are so many variables. How many miles does you car? How well has your car been maintained? Your engine over heats and cuts out, it probably runs rough and may have steam coming out of the exhaust. Have you had to top up the radiator with coolant frequently? I have seen a lot of blown head gaskets on these engines.
    Hopefully it is something less complex and far less expensive.
