1998 Jaguar XK8 Question: Is this a transmission problem?

Question

I hear a rubbing or scraping noise coming from the right front of the automobile when driving. The noise is not constant but sporadic--sometimes more often than others.
Could this be the transmission?

Could be right front brakes or wheel bearings your best bet is to have a shop check this before further damage occurs and you can locate a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory

I have the same problem on the drivers side front end and my tire rubs on the inside wheel well in harsh dips or minow dips while turning to the right.
