    How about while you are driving, and have driven about 2 miles, still reading high? Most ambient temp sensors will read high until car has been in motion for a few minuets! Especially if parked after driving and while engine compartment is hot! It can be switched from °F to °C and back if desired.... See owners manual for full details!
