1999 Toyota 4Runner Question: is there an anti theft reset procedure for chip/transponder type factory system

 Rookie

master key was lost dealer cut 2 new keys by vin but neither had chips in keys then found master key but now no crank no start r&i starter and had tested new battery and cables tested ign switch signal at start relay and test relay both good tested start wire at solenoid no voltage is this an immobiliser lockout of anti theft wondering if there is a reset procedure for this i have master key but no keyless fobs

    A locksmith or properly equipped shop can train the ECM to learn a new master key. You will need chipped keys to operate the car, and the car must be trained to recognize them.

    I dont think the key is your trouble! It should still crank the engine but not start the engine if it were your trouble. Auto or stick transmission?

    Hell no,,it's the kanootin pin that goes through the wobbly shaft right next to the lord have mercy pedal.
