Question: is there a switch that enables you to move from park to neutral to push car

 Rookie

my key will not turn in the ignition. i need to move my car but can not do that because i can't turn the key allowing me to move out of park. is there an over ride switch that will enable me to move the gear selector to neutral in order to move my car?

    Repair manual does not show a bypass for that car. If you have the owners manual that might be place to check for a overide or bypass method.

    YOU CAN NORMALLY TURN IGN TO 1ST CLICK WITH DASH LIGHTS OFF AND IT WILL RELEASE AT TIMES TRY THAT

    Just above the P there is an access point looks like a button, lift this up to gain access to shifter lock release.
    Use the key to push down in slot while moving shifter. May take a little practise!
