Is there a pressure switch. on 2002 BMW 530i

is there a pressure switch cuz it seem like the compressor is not coming on tha car is only blowing hot air.

yes, there is a pressure switch. however, there are MANY other likely suspects to cause the compressor not to engage. the first thing to do is to scan the climate control system with BMW software to make sure that the control system is okay.
